Pocket Plunder (Android package com.pocketplunder.game) is provided by Ricci Doddz Caro Juaman, a sole trader in Queensland, Australia, using the publisher name Ninong Heaven. For privacy questions, contact juamandudz1590@gmail.com.
Pocket Plunder is a single-player game that can be played offline. It stores your chosen captain name, flag, settings, game progress, ships, inventory and voyage information in the app's local storage so you can resume playing. A backup copy of the save may also be kept locally to recover from a damaged save.
If you use the optional demonstration shop, its simulated wallet and transaction history are stored separately on your device. The demonstration shop does not charge real money or grant purchases to your main game.
Your local captain name and game saves are not uploaded to us. This release does not provide cloud saves, advertisements or access to your contacts, precise location, camera or microphone.
On Android, the game integrates Google Play Games Services for platform sign-in. Google may sign you in automatically according to your Play Games settings. You can also request sign-in in the game's Settings. Playing the game does not require signing in.
The Play Games SDK starts when the Android game starts. Its automatic service analytics and diagnostics are not switched off by choosing to play without signing in. Version 0.9.4 (17) suppresses automatic prompts to create a new Play Games profile; you can still request sign-in yourself. This does not turn off SDK initialization or automatic sign-in to an existing profile.
The Google Play Games SDK processes your gamer identity, including your player identifier, gamer name and profile avatar, and collects service analytics and diagnostics to operate and improve its services. These services use encrypted connections. Google shares your gamer identity with the game when you sign in; we do not maintain a server database of these profiles. This release does not request your friends list or upload your local captain save, achievements or leaderboard scores.
Version 0.9.3 (16) includes Google Play Billing, which connects to Google Play and can query product availability even though purchases are disabled. Version 0.9.4 (17) removes the native Billing SDK and does not start a billing connection or create a new shop installation identifier while commerce is disabled. Real-money purchases and the separate online shop account remain disabled. The local demonstration shop does not process payments.
Google handles its services under the Google Privacy Policy. Profile visibility and automatic sign-in are controlled through your Google Play Games settings.
See Google's instructions for changing the Play Games profile used by a game or signing out. These settings control platform sign-in; they are not an in-game switch for all SDK analytics and diagnostics.
Game data is kept in the app's local storage while you use the game. Android's app storage protections apply; the game's save-integrity check detects damaged files but is not encryption. You can delete the locally stored game and demonstration-shop data by clearing Pocket Plunder's app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the app. This removes your local progress. We do not hold a server copy from which to restore it.
To delete Google Play Games profile or game data held by Google, use your Play Games profile settings or Google Account. See Google's instructions for deleting Play Games data. Google controls retention of its service data under its privacy policy. Deleting Play Games data does not delete the local Pocket Plunder save; clear the app's storage separately to remove that save.
